【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthenomenclatureandsharedsemanticsforacollectionofdatatypescommonlyoccurringinprogramminglanguagesandsoftwareinterfaces,referredtoastheLanguage-Independent(LI)Datatypes.Itspecifiesbothprimitivedatatypes,inthesenseofbeingdefinedabinitiowithoutreferencetootherdatatypes,andnon-primitivedatatypes,inthesenseofbeingwhollyorpartlydefinedintermsofotherdatatypes.ThespecificationofdatatypesinmisInternationalStan-dardis"language-independent"inthesensethatthedatatypesspecifiedareclassesofdatatypesofwhichtheactualdatatypesusedinprogramminglanguagesandotherentitiesrequiringtheconceptdatatypeareparticularinstances.ThisInternationalStandardexpresslydistinguishesthreenotionsof"datatype",namely:·theconceptual,orabstract,notionofadatatype,whichcharacterizesthedatatypebyitsnominalvaluesandproperties;·thestructuralnotionofadatatype,whichcharacterizesthedatatypeasaconceptualorganizationofspecificcomponentdatatypeswithspecificfunctionalities;and·theimplementationnotionofadatatype,whichcharacterizesthedatatypebydefiningtherulesforrepresentationofthedatatypeinagivenenvironment.ThisInternationalStandarddefinestheabstractnotionsofmanycommonlyusedprimitiveandnon-primitivedatatypeswhichpossessthestructuralnotionofatomicity.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotdefineallatomicdatatypes;itdefinesonlythosewhicharecommoninprogramminglanguagesandsoftwareinterfaces.ThisInternationalStandarddefinesstructuralnotionsforthespecificationofothernon-primitivedatatypesandprovidesameansbywhichdatatypesnotdefinedhereincanbedefinedstructurallyintermsoftheLIdatatypesdefinedherein.ThisInternationalStandarddefinesapartialvocabularyforimplementationnotionsofdatatypesandprovidesfor,butdoesnotrequire,theuseofthisvocabularyinthedefinitionofdatatypes.Theprimarypurposeofthisvocabularyistoidentifycommonimplementationnotionsassociatedwithdatatypesandtodistinguishthemfromconceptualnotions.SpecificationsfortheuseofimplementationnotionsaredeemedtobeoutsidethescopeofthisInternationalStandard,whichisconcernedsolelywiththeidentificationanddistinctionofdatatypes.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestherequiredelementsofmappingsbetweentheLIdatatypesandthedatatypesofsomeotherlanguage.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotspecifythepreciseformofamapping,butrathertherequiredinformationcontentofamapping.
