【摘要】:ThispartofISO15004specifiesfundamentalrequirementsforopticalradiationsafetyforophthalmicinstrumentsandisapplicabletoalloophthalmicinstrumentsthatdirectopticalradiationintoorattheeyeandforwhichthereisaspecificlighthazardsrequirementsectionwithintheirrespectiveInternationalStandards,i.e.allophthalmicinstrumentslistedinAnnexB.Itisalsoapplicabletoallnewandemergingophthalmicinsrumentsthatdirectopticalradiationintoorattheeye.WheredifferencesexistbetweenthispartofISO15004andthelighthazardrequirementssectionoftherespectiveverticalInternationalStandard,thentheverticalIntertionalStandardshalltakeprecedence.NOTETheemissionlimitsarebasedontheInternaiionalCommissiononNon-lonizingRadiationProtection(ICNIRP)guidelinesforhumanexposuretoopticalradiation.SeeBibiliography.ThispartofISO15004doesnotapplytoradiationthatisinexcessoflimitsspecifiedinISO15004andthatisintendedofrtreatmentoftheeye.ThispartofISO15004classifiesophthalmicinstrumentsintoeitherGroup1orGroup2inordertodistinguishinstrumentsthatarenon-hazardousfromthosethatarepotentiallyhazardous.
